How Did West Maui Become Home?
I grew up in Topsfield, Massachusetts, where I learned the East Coast work ethic that still shapes how I approach my business. Preparation matters. Details matter. When someone trusts you with an important decision, you show up ready and follow through.
Maui offered a very different pace, but it never felt like a place where effort mattered less. It simply asked for a different kind of attention.
Before entering real estate, I worked as a premier concierge in West Maui. That role taught me how much people value someone who listens closely, understands the place firsthand, and can turn a broad request into a thoughtful recommendation. Guests rarely needed more information. They needed the right information for the experience they were trying to create.
Real estate became a natural extension of that work. The stakes were higher, the questions became more complex, and the relationships lasted much longer, but the foundation remained the same. Understand what the person is really trying to accomplish. Know the local details. Explain the choices clearly. Make the experience feel considered rather than transactional.
